SpaceGhost is a queer and self-taught, multidisciplinary tattoo artist, and painter living with Ehlers Danlos Syndrome and neurodivergence. They have been painting and drawing animals and people since some of their earliest memories. They have an academic background in animal biology, and marine sciences and an art background in biological illustration and portraiture. They are trauma-informed, and practice a consent driven approach to tattooing. SpaceGhost came to tattooing through their journey to self compassion and healing. It is their goal through tattooing to bring radical acceptance and self love to those they connect with. They believe that tattooing is a deeply collaborative form of medicine that can change someone's life forever, starting with the relationship to the body.
